We limit the number of athletes to a maximum of 18 in the pool. This means that on average, athletes typically swim 3 to a lane, but more often 2 to a lane enjoying 1/2 a lane all to themselves. We do this on purpose. We do this because we believe athletes need to train at their individual level of technique, skill, and capacity; and we do not believe that trying to keep up with others in a lane is an healthy or productive way to train. In addition to space in the lane to train at their level, athletes enjoy a low athlete : coach ratio ensuring plenty of one on one time. These benefits do come at a cost, but we believe athletes who are in pursuit of their potential understand the cost of operating a program of the quality level we deliver. Results? Check them out for yourself. Review results from past seasons (see Main Menu) to see athletes making year over year progress by consistently setting new personal bests.

The City of Burlington is renovating Angela Coughlan Pool during the 2019-2020 indoor swim season, as a result all swim programs – swim teams, water polo, synchro, etc… – have been rescheduled. These are the times and the pools that the City has provided us for the coming season. Once renovations are complete, we anticipate returning to our previous schedule for the 2020-2021 indoor swim season.

Training Options & Fees:

1x / week – Full Season $675 ($75/month)
2x / week – Full Season $1,125 ($125/month)
3x / week – Full Season $1,350 ($150/month)

Last years fees were split into two: Winter (Sep-Mar) & Spring (Mar-Jun) due to the change in pools and training times resulting from the closure of Angela Coughlan Pool for renovations. For comparison, total fees from last year when Winter & Spring are combined were $1,320 (3x/wk), $1,060 (2x/wk) and $625 (1x/wk). The increase in fees reflects both an increase in pool rental rates as well as administrative fees and the cost of new training tools, the head coach continues to volunteer his time on deck.

Refund Policy:  TOEST DOES NOT provide refunds. With programs focused on quality, on learning, on athlete’s making significant progress, hi athlete turnover rate would compromise coaching and the experience of all athletes. We ask that prior to registering that all commitments, calendars, etc… are reviewed to avoid joining when the risk is that the athlete will miss many sessions and/or the athlete will have to drop out. Once an athlete registers, they have a reserved spot in a lane for the entire duration of the program.
